RecycleWise Buys CRV, Manufacturing and Packaging Plastics

RecycleWise pays top market prices for plastics of all kinds. We also are a certified redemption center for plastic beverage containers on which there is a California Redemption Value.

We buy and market a variety of commodity and engineering-grade thermoplastics, including both post-consumer and post-industrial plastics. RecycleWise accepts plastics in loose or baled form and, for commercial recycling accounts, can provide baling equipment. Any type of plastic may be recycled and made into new products.

RecycleWise buys:

    PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
PET PlasticsPET plastic is used manufacturing clothing, fibers, films and most commonly for water, soda, condiment and salad dressing bottles. Polyethylene terephthalate or PET fibers are very strong. They hold up well, even against rough or heavy use; can be clear to show contents and provide a superb barrier to gases and liquids. Bottled water containers, including those with California Redemption Value (CRV), are made from PET plastic. So are plastic soda and tea bottles. Most PET plastic bottles sold in California will carry a redemption value of a nickel or dime per container, depending on liquid volume size. In addition to this (CRV) value, the containers have scrap value. PET bottles and containers must be empty and dry to be recycled.

As a California Certified Processor, RecycleWise serves state certified Recycling Centers in many beneficial ways and can process unlimited amounts of PET, including PET CRV used beverage containers. For information on material requirements, transportation, prices, payment, terms and more; please contact our Recycling Center service bureau at 951-7810-8810. You will be pleased by what we can do for you.

    HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
HDPEHDPE plastic is used to make milk cartons, bottle caps, liquid detergent containers, medicine, toiletry, beauty bottles and containers, other food containers, for drink and milk crates, water pipes, hula hoops, toys, five gallon buckets (pails), grocery bags and more. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) stands up to heavy duty and weight and provides a good barrier to hold liquids and prevent contamination through gas and moisture permeation. RecycleWise is happy to receive any quantity of HDPE materials, from a box or bag full to truck loads. HDPE grades include natural and mixed color bottles. There are also grades for other items made from HDPE. All containers, pails and other items must be empty and dry.

    PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
Plastics PVCPolyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic is very versatile and can be used for many things, except for food items. PVC is very commonly used for packaging non-food items, to include “blister packages” that can be hard to open. PVC is used in making electrical wire insulation, various types of pipes and connectors and other “vinyl” materials and items.

    LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene)
LDPELow-density polyethylene (LDPE), offers strength, toughness, flexibility, ease of sealing, barrier to moisture. LDPE is used in frozen food bags, food cling films, flexible containers and lids (including food storage types), squeeze bottles (as for ketchup & mustard), Used in trash-can liners, bread packaging, milk bottle caps, and newspaper covers. LDPE is also used to make bicycle and reusable water bottles.

    PP (Polypropylene)
Plastics PP Perhaps, the most notable property of Polypropylene (PP) is heat resistance. It is also strong, tough, a good moisture and liquid barrier to include for most chemicals, grease and oils. The heat resistance and barrier qualities of polypropylene makes it useful for food products and even cooking; as in microwaveable containers, both reusable and single use. PP is also used for margarine tubs, yogurt containers, single use cups, plates and eating utensils and many other products, including industrial uses.

    PS (Polystyrene)
Polystyrene plastic is perhaps best known as the little white shipping peanuts. Polystyrene has a number of packaging, shipping and manufacturing applications and can be foam or solid. Polystyrene is also used for food cups, plates, egg cartons and to go containers. Polystyrene is most commonly white in color.
